Tuesday 21st April – LOCKDOWN DAY 30: My mum sent me a huge box of food today that she’d ordered online. It’s little things like this that really make my day since all this began.
Wednesday 22nd April – LOCKDOWN DAY 31: I’ve been feeling a bit down the last few days. I’m really starting to miss life the way it was and I feel so uncertain about the future. But my housemates went to the supermarket and came back with a big inflatable swimming pool. It took us hours to fill up but it was a lot of fun and really lifted my mood. Now we have something to do on the nice sunny days ahead.
Thursday 23rd April – LOCKDOWN DAY 32: I woke up quite late today. My sleeping pattern is starting to suffer from the way I’m feeling. I’ll try harder to get it back on track, I think that will make me feel much better.
Friday 24th April – LOCKDOWN DAY 33: I got my dissertation results back today. I’m so happy to have achieved a 1st! It’s given me much more confidence in myself as I’ve been feeling so unmotivated and uninspired by this project since lockdown began. It’s nice to know that I have another project under my belt. I feel like I now have that little push I needed to get on with the next one.
Saturday 25th April – LOCKDOWN DAY 34: I spoke to my family on FaceTime again today, which always lifts my mood. We celebrated my dissertation results and had a long chat about how we’re all doing. It’s my Grandad’s birthday soon and it’s sad that we can’t all celebrate properly, but he’s always positive about things. I just hope this is all over by Christmas, but that’s not looking likely.
Sunday 26th April – LOCKDOWN DAY 35: My housemates and I made another roast today. All I seem to do lately is eat, work, run and repeat! But it’s nice to do things like this every now and then to break up the days.
