As I’m struggling for motivation at the moment, I decided to come back to what I love in photography the most; light. At the beginning of this project, I looked at Nigel Shafran’s work. One of the features I like most about Shafran’s work is his use of light, which I find makes ordinary things look even more interesting. I also found that beautiful lighting was something I liked the most whilst looking at the list of photographers we were sent earlier this week. I expressed to Simon that I’m struggling for inspiration in our 1-1 this week, and he also suggested that I really think about what I like to photograph most and focus on these features. As well as light, I also tried to think about the subject, framing and perspective, taking in to consideration each of the photographers I have researched so far.
