Visual Research: Photographers Who Work in Their Own Home

I had a look at the list we were sent today by email – a compilation of people’s work that relates to working from or about home.

I’m disappointed that I can’t travel home to photograph some different interior spaces that hold a lot meaning to me. It’s lead me to feel a bit uninspired by my surroundings here in my uni house. However, looking at some new photographers has given me a lot more inspiration to continue shooting.

I’ve chosen a few photos from each photographer that I liked, as something to look back on when I need further inspiration. I’ve chosen these particular photographers either because they relate to my project or because I simply enjoy the work. I may look at a few of these projects in more depth too.

Christopher Anderson – ‘The Joy of Connection

Clare Gallagher – ‘The Second Shift’ & ‘Domestic Drift’

Eleonora Agostini – ‘Something is Missing’

Fred Hunning – ‘Love’

Moyra Davey – Various Projects

Sian Bonnell – Various Projects

Thomas Duffield – ‘Overview’ & ‘The Whole House is Shaking’
