This week I’ve been starting to think more about how I want my work to be presented at the end of this project. I’ve had a look at Stephen Shore’s ‘A Road Trip Journal’ and began to think about combining my own images into a book. It might be interesting to create my own journal/diary of some kind. I could document each day, perhaps with some writing alongside it. It would be like a holiday album or photo diary, but instead of capturing all the exciting, appealing moments of my life, I would be capturing the normal, mundane, yet still fascinating parts of my everyday life. It would be a collection of moments from day-to-day life that will otherwise be forgotten. I think that’s far more meaningful than photographing moments which will always exist in your memory. So, for this week’s shoot I simply focused on taking one or two images a day, that represent what I did that day.
